Now that Cynthia and I are grandparents, we are returning with renewed interest to children’s books. Each week Cynthia makes a visit to the local Salvation Army Thrift Store to see what classic children’s books she can find. I now have the assignment of building a new bookshelf for her growing collection! For all you grandparents and parents of young children I thought this post was worth passing on. It was a guest post on Abraham Piper’s blog 22 Words. Be sure to read the comments from others.

This is great. I love book recommendations. Especially for kids. Thanks Bill!
One of my favorite books is “Love you Forever” by Robert Munsch. My girls enjoyed me reading it to them cause they liked to see me blubber over it. I cried everytime I read it. The reality of this book is becoming realer every year.
