Right now I have the privilege of being with the pastors at the Together for the Gospel (T4G) conference in Louisville, KY. This is the conference hosted by our own CJ Mahaney, as well as Al Mohler, Ligon Duncan and Mark Dever. Two years ago these four friends decided to get together across their various denominational lines and to host a conference that centered on the one thing that all Christians have common, and the one thing that is dearest to their hearts: the gospel. They started T4G as a means of encouraging pastors with the centrality of the gospel, and as a way to bring these men together to fellowship and enjoy one another.

Fortunately for me, the Pastors College class gets to participate as well, so this past Monday I flew with my classmates down to Louisville where I met up with our pastors (and about 5,200 other guys) for the conference. It has been exceptional to hear these four men–as well as RC Sproul, Thabiti Anyabwile, John MacArthur and John Piper–address us from God’s word, and to sing hymns in the midst of a 5,000-voices strong choir. Today is the last day of the conference, and I will look forward to seeing you all in Lancaster on Sunday!
